EXTENDED! I-10 WB Entrance Ramp at Exit 109 (Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish - Ramp Closure

UPDATE: The I-10 westbound entrance ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge) will be closed on Tuesday, February 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, February 24 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The I-10 westbound entrance ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge) will be closed on Monday, February 22 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, February 23 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to prepare the roadway for asphalt operations.
The detour for westbound traffic is I-10 eastbound to Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) then back onto I-10 westbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
