**Emergency Traffic Accident**
I-49 at Lena; Northbound; Rapides Parish; Mile Marker 107
The Department of Transportation and Development advises public that there has been an accident on I-49 at the Lena exit-Mile Marker 107. The Northbound lane of I-49 will be impassable until this accident has been cleared.
DOTD urges motorists to continue to use extra caution when traveling on roadways. Motorists should drive slowly and carefully, and avoid driving while distracted. Make an effort to be aware of your surroundings and be watchful of DOTD personnel and equipment dispensing deicing/anti-icing material.
