The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), and in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), recently initiated a study to determine the need for and the feasibility of extending the I-69 Connector from Arkansas Highway 278, near Wilmar, Arkansas, to Interstate 20 in Louisiana.

In conjunction with this study, a public meeting has been scheduled. The meeting will allow those in attendance an opportunity to ask questions, comment on the need for the I-69 Connector Extension, and provide early input for the study. Representatives from DOTD, AHTD and the consultant preparing the study will be available to answer questions and receive comments.

The meetings will be held in an “open house” format with no formal presentations.
