**UPDATE** LA 409 (Liberty Road) has reopened.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces road closure due to high water on LA 409.
The road at LA 409 (Liberty Rd) is closed at Sandy Creek Bridge due to high water.
The road closure will remain in effect until the water goes down.
