The City of Rayne has received funding from the U.S. Congress to study a proposal for an interchange and frontage roads on Interstate 10 at Grand Prairie Highway (La. 98). An Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared to study various alternatives for the upgrade of an existing I-10 crossing of La. 98 to provide for full east/west access to I-10, including adjacent frontage roads. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is conducting this public meeting concerning the findings of the EA.

Representatives of DOTD and the project team will be available to provide information about the general location and design features of the roadway; the social, economic, environmental (including wetlands and floodplain), and other impacts of the project; the relocation assistance program; and any other matters of interest. The hearings will also feature a recorded presentation of the project information.
