EXTENDED!!! I-10 WB Exit Ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge) will also be closed as follows:

• Wednesday, February 3 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, February 4 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge) will be closed will be closed as follows, weather permitting:

• Monday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, February 2 at 6:00 a.m.
• Tuesday, February 2 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, February 3 at 6:00 a.m.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to install new asphalt pavement on the ramp.

The detour for traffic is to continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 104 (LA Ave.) then onto I-10 eastbound to Exit 109 (LA 328).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
