DOTD announces upcoming LA 73 (Jefferson HWY) lane closure in East Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming lane closures in on LA 73 (Jefferson HWY).
One lane will be closed in the southbound direction on LA 73 between Parkforest DR and Parkview Church RD from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2nd,2021. All work is weather permitting.
The lane closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance operations.
One lanes of traffic will remain open at all times.
Motorists may encounter excessive delays during the peak times of this closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
