BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will be filming six new public service announcements this week in the Baton Rouge area for its upcoming highway safety public service announcement (PSA) campaign.

Filming will begin Wednesday, March 21, at the Capitol Access Road and I-110 overpass at approximately 8 a.m. and will move to La. 19 in Baker from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The production will continue in Zachary on La. 64 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Filming will continue Thursday, March 22, on Highway 64 in Zachary from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

DOTD will not close any lanes during filming. However, drivers may experience delays during filming, because traffic will be directed around the film crew.

DOTD will formally launch its statewide highway safety PSA campaign in early April with six new television, radio and print advertisements.
