LA 1 West Baton Rouge: Entergy – Utility Work

Beginning on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, the south bound right lane of LA 1 will be closed approximately 1-mile south of LA 989-1. The lane will be closed from 9:00am-2:00pm on Wednesday, January 20th and Thursday, January 21st. This road closure is needed for Entergy to work on their power lines.
Permit load restrictions will be up to 12 feet wide; anything over, please contact the permit office.
DOTD appreciates your patience, and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites, and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
