DOTD announces upcoming Barnett Rd. road closure in East Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming road closure of Barnett Rd. at US 61 Airline Hwy.
Barnett Rd. will be closed at US 61 for a bridge replacement Monday, October 26,2020 through the end of November 2021.
All work is weather permitting.
The road closure is necessary for crews to replace the Comite Diversion Canal Bridge.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
