ROAD CLOSURE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, October 19, 2020, LA 148 in Jackson Parish, south of Ruston, LA will be closed at a location 4.6 miles east of US 167 to replace a culvert under the roadway.
The road closure is anticipated to last one week.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour
The detour route will be LA 148, LA 146, LA 155, and US 167.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
