UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 143 south of Rock Branch at Ouachita P/L, Union Parish
UPDATE (10/12/2020 5:20pm): LA 143 south of Rocky Branch at the Ouachita Parish line in Union Parish has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 143 south of Rocky Branch near the Ouachita Parish line in Union Parish is closed due to downed power lines and trees.
If you must travel, please do so with extreme caution and remember to never drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
DOTD will issue a notification when the roadway has been reopened and is safe for travel.
