**HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS ADVISORY DUE TO HURRICANE DELTA**
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that there are Low Hanging Power Lines on LA 397 Pujol Road near Luke Powers Road in Calcasieu Parish.

Motorists should avoid driving during this period unless there is an emergency. If you must drive, watch for flooded roadways, downed trees/utility lines, and storm debris across area roads and bridges due to wind and storm damage. Motorists should avoid driving into standing or running water. Drivers should also follow these tips when driving during and after a rainfall event:
• slow down, be attentive, and avoid driving distracted
• allow for extra driving time and additional room between vehicles
• reduce speeds when visibility is low or road surfaces are wet
• be alert for DOTD, other state, and local responders’ equipment and workers performing work on the bridges and roadways.
• buckle up and refrain from drinking and driving
• do not use your cruise control
