The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that effective immediately LA 465 is open to traffic.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that effective immediately LA 465 is closed to all through traffic. The purpose of the closure is to allow Cleco to occupy the travel lanes to construct new power lines through the Cypress Bayou area. Additionally there is storm debris being removed along this route so it is becoming congested with workers and equipment. For log trucks attempting to use this route, there are few options to turn around if the road is blocked.

Permit/Detour section
Northbound traffic on LA 465: West on LA 28; North on LA 121; East on LA 8 to LA 465

Southbound traffic on LA 465: West on LA 8; South on LA 121; East on LA 28 to LA 465
