The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that both the Tremont Rest Areas on I-20 eastbound and westbound near Choudrant in Lincoln Parish are currently closed to the public due to low water pressure as a result of Hurricane Laura.

There is no estimated time frame on getting the rest areas reopened at this time.

DOTD appreciates the public’s patience as clean-up and recovery operations continue following the storm.
