LA 1 has been re-opened, however, some water remains in certain locations on the roadway.

Effective immediately, LA 1 is closed at the Theriot lock, located approximately 2-miles south of its intersection with LA 3235, due to sever weather.
Safety Reminder:
With the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
