Alternating lane closures on LA 397– Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 397 will have alternating lane closures between Farm Road and McNeese Street Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 from 7 a.m. to 6p.m. each day.

The closures are necessary for crews to mill and overlay the roadway. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone by flaggers. All work is weather dependent.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
