***UPDATE*** This closure has been rescheduled due to upcoming storms. The lane will now be closed Tuesday September 1 through Thursday September 3, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4 PM.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming lane closures on US 61 Airline Hwy.
One lane will be closed in both the southbound and northbound directions on US 61 (Airline Hwy) between Irene Rd and LA 64(Mt. Pleasant-Zachary Rd.) daily from Monday, August 24th, through Wednesday August 26 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
All work is weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to perform temporary striping.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
Motorists may encounter excessive delays during the peak times of this closure.
