LA 1 SB (Outside) Lane Closure and LA 1 NB (Inside) Lane Closure at Bayou Plaquemine Bridge

LA 1 will have one lane closed in each direction at the Bayou Plaquemine Bridge (Plaquemine) in Iberville Parish. The lanes will be closed across the entire length of the bridge on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. while DOTD crews perform a routine inspection on the bridge.

Detour Information

This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles Southbound must detour using LA 1 North to I-10 East to LA22 South to LA 70 South to LA 1 North. Northbound oversize vehicles must detour using LA 1 South to LA 22 North to I-10 West to LA 1 South.
