ROAD CLOSURE: LA 191 at Toledo Bend Spillway, Sabine Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, August 6, 2020, the Sabine River Authority (SRA) will be closing LA 191 in both directions at the Toledo Bend Spillway in Sabine Parish (mile post 1.7).
A full road closure is necessary in order to safely complete the required maintenance work.
This closure is expected to last approximately four (4) hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and approximately two (2) hours from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. later the same day. These times are contingent on there being no complications or weather delays.
The closure is located one (1) mile south of the junction of LA 392 and LA 191.
Permit/Detour:
There will be flagging personnel on site directing traffic. You can expect some delays if traveling north or south on LA 191. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes during the time of the road closure.
