DOTD announces an upcoming Highway Construction Project on LA 3043 from LA 104 to 2.65 Miles East of LA 104 in St. Landry Parish, SPN H.014117.6

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, July 13, construction will begin on a $1.7 million project on LA 3043 from LA 104 to 2.65 miles east of LA 104 in St. Landry Parish.

The work is estimated to take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be intermittent lane closures throughout the project. The roadway will remain open to regular traffic with a 12-foot maximum width restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

The project will include removal of the existing asphalt, subgrade and base stabilization, new asphalt pavement, rumble strips, striping, and related work.

Emergency vehicles will have access to this area.

The project is estimated for completion in October 2020.
