DOTD announces completion of southbound U-turn lane on US 171 in Beauregard Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the completion of a southbound U-turn lane on US 171 between Longville Church Road and Amos Airhart Road.
The newly installed turn lane will improve traffic flow and provide motorists with a safer and more efficient U-turn lane. School buses serving the south Beauregard elementary schools and high school will be able to utilize the U-turn lane to safely queue prior to performing a turn.
The temporary striping is currently in place and will remain until permanent striping can be installed. Information will be announced on when the permanent striping will occur.
