I-55: LA22 INTERSTATE LIGHTING – TANGIPAHOA PARISH - STATE PROJECT H.012874

Intermittent and Alternating Lane Closures on I-55 near the Ponchatoula Exit (Mile Point 26) are scheduled at the following times and locations, weather permitting, while crews perform high mast lighting operations. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone at all times.

I-55 Northbound:
Monday, January 24, 2022 through Friday, January 28, 2022, from 7 PM to 3 PM.

I-55 Southbound:
Monday, January 24, 2022 through Friday, January 28, 2022, from 9 AM to 5 AM.

PERMIT INFORMATION:
Wide loads will be restricted to 12’ through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access.

DETOUR INFORMATION:
The following alternate routes may be used to avoid the construction zone:

Motorists traveling I-55 North may take US 51 Business North (Exit 23) to I-12, then west to re-intersect I-55.
Motorists traveling I-55 South may take I-12 East to US 51 Business South (Exit 40) to re-intersect I-55.
