The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 115/29, Bunkie, Avoyelles Parish, is NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

Union Pacific Railroad

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 115/29, Bunkie, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The work will be done at Milepost 39.521 and is on Control Section 033-01. The closure will be on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM with a reopen at 7:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the track panel and crossing surface thru the crossing.

Permit/Detour section
The Roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The Detour will be LA 115/29 to Pine Street to US 71 to LA 115/29. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the Road Closure.
