US 51 Business Roundabouts at the I-12 Interchange and Club Deluxe Rd., TANGIPAHOA PARISH

From Monday, June 1, 2020, through Wednesday, June 3, 2020, there will be alternating, single lane closures on US 51 Business from the I-12 westbound ramp to Club Deluxe in Hammond from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM each night. This is for crews to paint line striping in the roundabouts at the I-12 westbound ramp, the I-12 eastbound ramp, and Club Deluxe.
At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time. Intermittent, 10-minute closures for truck traffic may be required between striping applications at several locations.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
The following alternate routes may be used to avoid the construction zone:
Motorists traveling US 51 Bus. north may take LA 22 west to I-55, then north to US 190, then east to re-intersect US 51 Bus.
Motorists traveling US 51 Bus. south may take US 190 west to I-55, then south to LA 22, then east to re-intersect US 51 Bus.
