EXTENDED - ROAD CLOSURE: LA 513 near Pelican in DeSoto Parish
UPDATE: This road closure for bridge maintenance work has been extended through Friday, July 10, 2020.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., bridge maintenance work will begin on LA 513 near the Pelican community in DeSoto Parish.
This will consist of three consecutive closures on LA 513 between LA 483 and LA 346.
This bridge maintenance closure on LA 513 is scheduled to last until Wednesday, June 17, 2020, weather permitting.
The following bridges will be included in the repair work:
- LA 513 over an unnamed waterway, 1.2 miles north of LA 483
- LA 513 over Brushy Bayou, 1.7 miles north of LA 483
- LA 513 over Ten Mile Bayou relief, 2.9 miles north of LA 483
Alternate route: Total road closure. All vehicles must detour using LA 483, LA 175, LA 346, and LA 513
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
