The Greater Lafourche Port Commission will be conducting a virtual Public Meeting online regarding the project titled Port Fourchon to Airport Connector: Bridging A Gap to Critical Rural Infrastructure. The proposed project will provide a new direct roadway connection from the intersection of the Airport Access Road and LA 308 to a new intersection with LA 3235. Completion of this project will allow residential, commercial, and airport traffic to divert from a rural, two lane undivided highway with high crash rates to a safer and more efficient four lane divided highway.
The virtual public meeting will be held online consecutively for twenty-seven (27) days from May 22, 2020 to June 19, 2020 and allow you to view the proposed footprint of the project and give you the opportunity to comment and/or ask questions.
A narrated PowerPoint slideshow will be visible and those tuning in will have the opportunity to make any comments on the forms linked to the webpage.
