DOTD Announces June 29, 2004, Bid Letting Results

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling over $14 million at its June 29 public bid opening, according to Governor Kathleen Blanco and DOTD Secretary Johnny B. Bradberry.

With a bid of $14,342,653.57, Diamond B. Construction Co., LLC, Alexandria, was the apparent low bidder on the state’s only job, a project in Grant Parish calling for grading, lime treatment, class II base course, drainage structures, superpave, portland cement concrete pavement, concrete girder spans bridges, and related work on US 165 from LA 524 to LA 123.
