Interested citizens, community organizations and businesses are invited to participate in the final Public Meeting. At the meeting, the project will present the final proposed action (project alignment) and the results of the Environmental Assessment (EA) document, particularly the findings on project impacts.

At this meeting, your comments on the EA document and its impact findings are welcome and encouraged. Copies of the document are available for advance review at Orleans Parish and St. Bernard Parish libraries (913 Alvar St., New Orleans; 1617 Caffin Ave., New Orleans; 1125 E. St. Bernard Hwy., Chalmette) and the project field office at 1008 Jourdan Road, and available for purchase at the LA DOTD District 2 Office (1440 Highway 90, Bridge City). Copies of the EA document will also be available for review at the meeting.

Project exhibits will include:

• A revised scale model representing the final project
• Photo simulations depicting the final project
• Engineering plan-view layouts of the final project
• Typical sections representing the final project, including proposed landscaping

The Public Meeting will consist of the following:

• Displays of project exhibits for review and comment
• Opening remarks
• A presentation on the final proposed action and the impacts of the project
• Comment/question/answer session
• Concluding remarks
