BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 534 bridge near Ruple, Claiborne Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists beginning on Monday, May 18, 2020, the LA 534 bridge over an unnamed creek near Ruple in Claiborne Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m., last for seven (7) days, and is necessary for repairs to be made to the bridge.
This bridge is located approximately 5.3 miles north of LA 2, and approximately 2.6 miles north of Ruple.
Alternate route: Total road closure. ALL vehicles must detour using LA 2 and US 79.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure. Vehicles must comply with weight restrictions on detour routes.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
