NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following roadway and lane closures, in respective parishes, due to icy road conditions. Motorists are urged to stay off the roads whenever possible and use extra caution if traveling during hazardous weather conditions.
Jefferson Parish
• I-10 from Kenner to Gramercy (in both directions)
Jefferson/Orleans Parishes
• I-10 throughout the Greater New Orleans area (alternate route is U.S. 61/Airline Hwy)
• La. 3139/Earhart Expressway (alternate route is U.S. 61/Airline Hwy)
Lafourche Parish
• Bellview Bridge (alternate route is La. 182)
• La. 1 Larose Highrise (Intracoastal) Bridge (alternate route is La. 182 to La. 3040 to La. 24)
• La. 308 overpass on the Larose Highrise (Intracoastal) Bridge (alternate route is La. 182 to La. 3040 to La. 24)
• La. 3220 at the Bellevue Bridge
• U.S. 90 East and West on Des Allemands Overpass (alternate route is La. 182)
Orleans Parish
• I-10 Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge
• I-10 East to Downman Road exit ramp
• I-10 East Highrise Bridge
• I-610 in New Orleans (entire span)
• La. 39 (Judge Seeber/Claiborne Avenue Bridge, alternate route is La. 46/St. Claude Bridge)
• La. 47 at the I-510 Bridge/Green Bridge (in both directions)
• Ted Hickey (Seabrook/Leon C. Simon Bridge)
• U.S. 90B/Crescent City Connection HOV Lanes
Orleans/St. Tammany Parishes
• I-10 Twin Spans Bridge (alternate routes are U.S. 90 and U.S. 11)
St. Bernard Parish
• La. 3146/Violet Canal Bridge at La. 39
St. Charles Parish
• I-310 in both directions from La. 18 to U.S. 90 (The bridge crossing over the river is open.)
• La. 3127 Elevated Ramp to northbound I-310 (alternate route is La. 18/River Road)
• La. 3142 Railroad Overpass (alternate route is La. 18/River Road)
Terrebonne Parish
• Humble Canal in both directions
• La. 20, Schriever Overpass (alternate route is La. 3855 to Main Project Road, to La. 311)
• La. 24/Houma Twin Span Bridge (in both directions; alternate route is La. 57 to La. 3040)
• La. 315 at the Bayou Dularge Bridge
• La. 3087 on the Prospect Overpass (alternate route is La. 182)
• U.S. 90 throughout the parish (alternate route is La. 182)
The following have single lane closures and remain open:
Orleans Parish
• U.S. 90 (Danziger Bridge)
Orleans/Plaquemines Parishes
• La. 23 (Judge Perez/Belle Chasse Bridge)
St. Charles Parish
• I-310 (Luling/Hale Boggs Bridge across the Mississippi River, from LA 48 (River Road) on the east bank to LA 18 (River Road) on the west bank. (One lane open in each direction)
All river crossings remain open at this time. DOTD continues to monitor weather reports, as well as area roadways, and will advise when it is safe to reopen.
