BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the closure of La. 82 and La. 3147 (Freshwater City Road) in Vermilion Parish due to icy conditions. The closure ends at the La. 82 and La. 35 junction.

As weather continues to deteriorate, motorists are urged to stay off the roads whenever possible and use extra caution if traveling during hazardous weather conditions.
