Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have outside lane closures beginning Thursday, February 27th, and extending through Monday, March 2nd, 2020, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Tiger Bend. Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction at all times.
These closures are necessary for replacing concrete driveways and curbs.
Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will also have alternating lane closures beginning Wednesday, February 26th, and extending through Monday, March 2nd, 2020. These closures will be located on Jefferson at the Claycut Bayou Bridge near Tiger Bend Rd and near the intersection of Antioch and Jefferson. Closures times will be allowed from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
These closures are necessary for asphalt patching and guardrail replacement on Jefferson Hwy at Claycut Bayou.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
