BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the closure of I-12 from St. Tammany to East Baton Rouge Parish due to icy conditions. The closure is located between La. 1077 in St. Tammany Parish to U.S. 61/Airline Highway in East Baton Rouge Parish.

As weather continues to deteriorate, motorists are urged to stay off the roads whenever possible and use extra caution if traveling during hazardous weather conditions.

The detour route will be U.S. 190.
