UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 823 / LINCOLN PARISH
UPDATE: Flood waters have receded and the roadway has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 823 from LA 151 to the Union Parish line in Lincoln Parish is CLOSED due to flooding over the roadway.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around 'ROAD CLOSED' barricades at any time for any reason. Also, remember to never drive through standing or running water.
