DOTD announces an upcoming Highway Construction Project on LA 376 from LA 1172 to US 167 in Evangeline Parish, SPN H.013092.6

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, February 24, construction will begin on a $3.6 million project on LA 376 from LA 1172 to US 167 in Evangeline Parish.
The work is estimated to take place Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be intermittent lane closures throughout the project. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot maximum width restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
The project will include milling asphalt concrete, subgrade and base reconstruction, new asphalt pavement, rumble strips, striping, and related work.
Emergency vehicles will have access to this area.
The project is estimated for completion in August 2020.
