LA 44 Inside Lane Closures at LA LA 621 and LA 935

Construction has begun for State Project H.009956 LA 44: Turn Lanes is in Ascension Parish for a length of 1.235 miles. The type of work is clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment, portland cement concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, drilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, and related work at a cost of $3,501,304.95.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be inside lane closures on LA 44 at the intersections of LA 621 and LA 935 beginning Wednesday, February 12th. These closures will last approximately two weeks, weather permitting, in order for crews to concrete patch LA 44.
No permit or oversize loads will be able to pass.
