UPDATE: This closure has been cancelled.

I-49 southbound between LA 745 and Exit 23 - US 167 north/LA 744 (Ville Platte) will have alternating lane closures on Thursday, February 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform routine bridge inspections.

The road will be open to regular traffic with 16-foot lane restrictions on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
