LA 308 Lane Closure

State Project H.010443 LA 308: Curve Realign and Shoulders is in Assumption Parish for a length of 6.139 miles. The type of work is clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment asphalt concrete pavement, and related work.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a full road closure of LA 308 on Saturday, February 1st beginning at 6:00 am until Sunday, February 2nd at 6:00 pm. LA 308, just west of Spur 70, will be closed in both directions. LA 308 westbound traffic will be detoured south on Spur 70, across Bayou Lafourche, then west on LA 1 to LA 403. Those travelling east on LA 308 will be detoured the same routes, LA 403 to LA 1 to Spur 70. This closure is necessary in order to install a cross drain at this location. Appropriate signage will be onsite and work will be completed weather permitting. No vehicles will be able to pass.
