Alternating northbound and southbound right lane closures will continue until Friday, February 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for roadway widening and construction of curb and gutter.

One lane in each direction will be open at all times.  Reduced speed limits will be posted.  Motorist may experience a 15 minute delay.

PERMIT/DETOUR INFORMTION:

Southbound US 61 motorist can detour by taking LA 3179 for 1.9 miles to LA 44, then left on LA 44 for 3.1 miles to LA 3224 (Hemlock St.), then left on LA 3224 for .02 miles to US 61.  The detour for northbound motorist is LA 3224 to LA 44, then LA 44 to LA 3179.
