Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will have outside lane closures beginning Friday, January 10th, and extending through Sunday, January 26th, 2020, between the intersections of Airline Hwy (US 61) and Tiger Bend. Closures times will be from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday to Friday. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction at all times.
These closures are necessary for removing and repairing concrete curb and gutter.
Jefferson Hwy (LA 73) will also have alternating lane closures beginning Friday, January 10th, and extending through Sunday, January 26th, 2020, between the intersections of Tiger Bend Rd and Highland Rd (LA 948). Closures times will be allowed from 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Weekend closures will also take place from 8:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday. One lane of travel will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
These closures are necessary for asphalt overlay and striping on Jefferson Hwy between Tiger Bend and Highland Rd (LA 948).
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
