CANCELLED LA 77 (IBERVILLE PARISH) ROAD CLOSURE

Due to inclement weather, the below closure is cancelled. It will be scheduled at a later date.
LA 77 (IBERVILLE PARISH)
A road closure will take place on LA 77 (Maringouin), approximately 1.3 miles south of LA 977 (at Wheellock Lane), Monday, January 13,2020. The closure will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 2:30 PM.
The closure is needed to add a new cross drain to improve the drainage in this area. This work is being done by permit and will be constructed by Iberville Parish DPW.
No traffic will be allowed through this area during the closure.
Southbound traffic may utilize the bridge at LA 977 and northbound traffic may detour to HWY 411 by way of the Slacks Bridge.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
