Good morning,

LTRC is excited to offer a Highway Capacity Analysis - Data Defaults Calibration workshop at TTEC on February 4, 2020. Please read the course description below and follow the link to complete your registration.

There is a minimum of 25 participants and a maximum of 50; so your registration will be confirmed prior to the date of the workshop.

This workshop is intended to define data collection requirements to replace default values with appropriate local data, including the need for calibrating key parameters when analyzing stop-controlled and signalized intersections. Workshops on Speed, Delay, Crash, Warrants, Timing, Demand, Headway, Calibration, Simulation and Impact included. Data requirements and default values for each type of analysis covered by the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) procedures will be discussed chapter-by-chapter.

Traffic - Terms (AADT DDHV PHF) Definitions Uses

Speed - Types (Travel Spot Running Free-Flow) Definitions Data Process; Workshop (Spot Mean 85th Percentile 10 mph Pace)

Delay - Definitions (Stopped Accel Decel Control) Data Process Workshop (Queues Arriving Stopping Factor Delay)

Crashes - Records (Maps Condition Collision) Questions Improvements Workshop (Condition Collision Issues Solutions)

Warrants - Signals (Advantages Disadvantages MUTCD Process) Workshop (Data Check Nine Warrants)

Timing - Definitions (Cycle Split Change Clearance) Coordination; Workshop (Change Clearance Time-Space Diagram)

Capacity - Definitions (Capacity Delay Density Level of Service); Uninterrupted (Freeways Highways) Interrupted (Intersections Arterials)

Freeways - Basic Weaving Ramps Facilities; Data Defaults Issues

Highways - Multilane Two-Lane; Data Defaults Issues

Unsignalized - TWSC Roundabouts; Data Defaults Issues; Workshop (Calibration Critical Headway Delay)

Signalized - Data Defaults Issues; Arrival Demand Data; Workshop (Counts Queues Demand) Headway Data Collection; Workshop (Calibration Base Saturation Flow)

Streets - Data Defaults Issues; Flow Balancing Access Points Flow Profile; Workshop (TransModeler SE Demonstration)

Impact - Process (Existing Future Mitigated Control); Workshop (Present Detailed Example)
