LA 4, Caldwell Parish: Road Closure for Railroad Crossing Replacement (Update: OPEN)

Update (12/13/2019): LA 4 in Caldwell Parish is open to all vehicular trafffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience while Union Pacific Railroad completed the replacement of the railroad crossing.
(12/9/2019) LA 4 in Caldwell Parish at the railroad crossing located approximately 0.4 miles of the intersection of US 165 and .65 miles of the intersection of LA 850 (Control Section: 068-04, Log mile: 19.282), will be closed beginning Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 7:00 a.m. through Friday, December 13, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. while the Union Pacific Railroad performs a replacement of the railroad crossing.
Detour: Detour signs will be in place. US 165 to LA 126 to LA 850.
