LTRC will host another 2-day Traffic Engineering Process and Report training as part of the on-going series required for those who work on DOTD projects in Traffic Engineering, including DOTD and private industries.
This course provides an overview of the LADOTD Process & Report Guidelines for Traffic Engineering Studies. These classes are meant for an individual with some traffic engineering background.

Course Descriptions:
Module 1
Introduction - Provides background on development and purpose of the Process & Report Guidelines. Explains basic fundamentals of Traffic Reports and QA/QC processes with a high level overview of the process.
Module 2
Data Collection & Existing Safety Analysis - Discusses Appendix A, B, and C and Chapter 1
Module 3
Existing Analysis - Discusses Appendix E and Chapter 2
Notes:
There is a minimum requirement of 15 attendees for this session. Should this series of classes need to be cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and we will do our best to make sure you are enrolled at another training location.
Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course series participants will have a clear understanding of LADOTD requirements for the development of Traffic Engineering Reports and what process is to be followed for review and approval of traffic studies.
Target Audience:
The target audience for this course is all traffic engineering practitioners that perform traffic studies for approval by LADOTD.

Module 1 – None
Module 2 – 70% or above on Class 1 test
Module 3 – 70% or above on Class 2 test
