LA 44 (ASCENSION PARISH) – Alternating lane closures will take place on LA 44 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily beginning Tuesday, December 3, 2019 ending Friday, December 6, 2019, between LA 22 & LA 941. This work will also extend to December 9, 2019, and will be completed by 3:00PM.
DOTD will be performing an asphalt overlay on LA 44.
NO loads wider than 12' will be able to pass through.
Wide loads should travel: Northbound detour - LA 44 to LA 22 to I -10 and Southbound detour - LA 44 to I-10 to LA 22.
