RESCHEDULED -- I-10 Eastbound On & Off Ramps at Exit 115, Lane Closure between mile markers 114.5 & 115, St. Martin Parish
Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 9:57:36 AM

UPDATE: These closures have been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

These nightly closures are scheduled to begin on Saturday, November 2 at 8 p.m. until Monday, November 4 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The On and Off-Ramps of I-10 eastbound at Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) will be closed nightly beginning Wednesday, October 30 at 8 p.m. until Friday, November 1 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Additionally, the outside lane of I-10 eastbound between mile markers 114.5 and 115.0 will be closed nightly beginning Wednesday, October 30 at 8 p.m. until Friday, November 1 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow the placement of asphaltic concrete and pavement striping on the ramps and move barriers.

The detour for I-10 eastbound traffic wanting to exit on LA 347 will be to continue on I-10 eastbound to Exit 121 – LA 3177 (Butte La Rose) and then back onto I-10 westbound to Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia).

The detour for northbound and southbound traffic on LA 347 wanting to go eastbound on I-10 is I-10 westbound to Exit 109 – LA 328 (Breaux Bridge) and then back onto I-10 eastbound.

This work is related to the FASTLANE I-10 widening project (State Project Number H.003014). This $54.7 million project will involve pavement replacement within the existing lanes in each direction for 2.7 miles along I-10 from LA 347 to the base of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. An additional lane will be added in the westbound direction.

With the help of the FASTLANE grant, this is the second of three projects to reconstruct and widen the I-10 corridor from I-49 to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.

The project began in July 2017 and is estimated for completion in 2020.
