US 190 (I-12 to LA 22) St. Tammany Parish

There will be alternating, intermittent lane closures of the inside (left) or the outside (right) lanes of Eastbound and Westbound US 190 from I-12 (mile post 248) to LA 22 (mile post 250) on Sunday, December 22, 2013. No work will be done between Monday, December 23 and Wednesday, December 25, but will resume Thursday, December 26 through Sunday, December 29, 2013. Crews will be installing asphalt guardrail pads and erecting the overhead and cantilever sign trusses on Eastbound and Westbound US 190. The contractor may work nightly between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM (weather permitting).
One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times.
Permit/Detour Section
By law, oversized loads are not allowed to travel at night. Emergency vehicles will have access.
During the nightly construction, eastbound motorists may take I-12 to LA 59, South on LA 59 to US 190 East and westbound motorists may take LA 59 to I-12, West on I-12 to US 190 West.
