The following closures will take place on I-12 near the Satsuma Exit. Motorists wanting to avoid this construction zone should see the detours mentioned below.
• I-12 Eastbound – On/Off Ramps at Exit #19 (Satsuma Interchange) will be closed intermittently from Thursday, September 19, 2019 through Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 8:00 pm - 5:00 pm, nightly (weather permitting). These closures will allow crews to lay asphalt on the roadway.
• I-12 Eastbound and Westbound (from 1 mile west of the Satsuma Exit to 1/2 mile east of the exit) will have lane closures from Thursday, September 19, 2019 through Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 8:00 pm - 5:00 pm, nightly (weather permitting).
These closures will allow crews to do concrete paving and to lay asphalt on the roadway.
Detours for I-12 through traffic:
Eastbound I-12 motorists may take LA 447 North to US 190 East to LA 63 South back to I-12.
Detours for I-12 Eastbound On/Off Ramp traffic at the Satsuma Exit:
Eastbound I-12 motorists wanting to exit at Satsuma may take LA 63 North to US 190 West to South Satsuma Road.
Eastbound I-12 motorists wanting to enter I-12 at Satsuma may take LA 447 North to US 190 East to South Satsuma Road.
