DOTD announces an upcoming Highway Construction Project on LA 336-1 in St. Martin Parish, SPN H.013327

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, September 16, construction will begin on a $248,000 project on LA 336-1, 0.19 miles southwest LA 31 to LA 31 (S. Railroad Street to LA 31) in St. Martin Parish.
The work is estimated to take place on Mondays through Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be intermittent lane closures to perform milling and asphalt overlays throughout the project. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
The project will include milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, asphalt concrete overlay, handicap sidewalk ramp installation, and related work.
The project is estimated for completion in October 2019.
